He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Nitra and holds an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in the USA.
He started working in telecommunications in the mid-1990s, as CFO of the Slovak operator Orange, then in the services of Czech Telekom and the successor Telefónica. In 2006-2010 he was CEO of O2 in Slovakia. He spent several years in his own business, and in 2019 he headed to the management of CETIN.
He is married, has two grown-up sons and enjoys spending time in nature. He enjoys running and triathlon – he completed the dreaded Ironman race in Kona, Hawaii in a time of 10 hours and 42 minutes.
