Kevin Adams joined the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) as Deputy Director for Telecoms Security and Resilience in August 2024. Between 2018 and 2024 he held roles in the Ministry of Defence and Digital Department focusing on national security and international issues. From 2014-18 he worked in the British Embassy in Washington DC on homeland security and justice with a focus on cross-border access to data. Prior to that Kevin held various roles in the London, Basra and Lisbon working for the Foreign Office and then Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism.
