Nobutaka TAKEO is the Director for Cybersecurity at the Ministry of Economy Trade andIndustry (METI) Japan. His work centers around two main missions: to protect Japanese industry from cyber threats, and to help Japanese industry make secure products. He has over 20 years of experience in METI with a strong background in technology policy. Most recently, he served as the Director for Battery Industry Division for two years before assuming his current role in 2023.
